Will, It's great to see you working on it and making it clearer. I think add another layer in Flash and label it "face_screen" and just animate a shape for the face screen over the character for the whole film. That would make understanding the main point of the story clearer. I'm wondering, if the bird sequence may be able to be cut and look forward to your views on that. At the very start we need some sound effects to orientate the viwer as to the extreme close up, otherwise ditch the close up and pan out and just start with a standard, wide establishing shot to tell us we're in a modern city.

yes somone did mention getting rid of the bird idea in the annonoumas/not so critiques. But i feel its needed, its combines the 2 very different scenes. I think it could be made clearer though, including making the passing business man fat, so not to cause confusion about character. Ans also make the birds sadder, and make it more obvious that only 2 get fed and the mother sadly stairs at the third, its a thingy on the thingy of thingy to do with nature vs this new digital world... mm bedtime =)
