Gentleladies and Gentlemans and those who decide otherwise

This post is to propose that once again, we attempt a collaborative comic, the idea itself has been discussed and tossed around since the start of 2009 and I feel it my duty to remind us all of the fact that our time together is short, for next year we will all be trying to find work and go our separate ways.

But that’s another half year away =) so for now we can try and create something fun, something we can maybe look back on from our future famous animator position and have a giggle.

“But I don’t have the time” YES “assignments” “work” “sexlife” all these things take up your precious time, but the fact of the matter remains that if you don’t make time, you’ll never have any, if your too busy now at the laid back fun facilities of TAFE, then you’re sure as hell not going to have enough time to create anything personal when you’re working.

So if you’re still reading I gather your interested =)

Mayas balls

Maya Vs 3dsmax.... 3dsmax destroyes maya in usability and modeling ability, but maya is a little nice to animate in, that said its still a horrible method and i wish the guys over at autodesk would hire a bunch of animators to work with them to improve the usability. At the moment maya is a huge over complex moster of a program built on shaky foundations, lets hope the future is a little brighter

Wow, when i think of a year, it sounds like a long time, but we'v already left january behind =S, only 11 more to go till the big 2011.. crazyness, defnitly play less xbox and focus more on animation and illustration right =)

So this week iv been caricaturing aswell as doodling been fun =)

Playing with symbols, the nappie, the blocks n the bottle, and also not all there facial expressions.

This week i'm doing a week long summer school which will teach me the basics of art history and how to write an essay the proper way, aswell as how to make my art mean somthing more than just a mixed statement =) more on that stuff later =D

Keeping busy =)

So since my last post ive been bussy selling things and trying to undo the damage cristmas and paying for tafe did to my back pocket so being creative has been in the back seat =( i have been drawing a bit though and made some caricatures of people directly from facebook =)

and thats what i lfet behind when i left byron bay =) tiehiehie.

Other than that i'm looking forward to starting tafe again in february =) a year of just animation, creation and illustration, can only be grand =)

Ahh the holidays thusfar have been grand,
iv saved a bit of money that made my backpocket happy,
spent alot more, but then again, whats it all for? =)

iv drawn alot and painted a little
watched the rains come
and got caught in a drizzle
But now the bloody sun is out

and i'm stuck in the fuking middle =S
